New Hope Fellowship is kicking off a new initiative for 2019 where we will make a tangible, connective, missional impact in our town. We are looking for ways that we could make a positive impact specifically in Onalaska through random acts of kindness, through showing up and doing something good/kind/unexpected for someone, or local businesses or people that we could make an impact by spotlighting in our community. Please be in prayer as this will be our first fully comprehensive initiative to get OUT into our community and make the kind of kingdom impact a body of believers should be having in a community they're planted in. It all starts this year so keep checking back on the website or Facebook page and let Coulee Bicycle Co know you love 'em here in Onalaska!

#ForOnalaska: Rachel Wunsch Design Studio

“I use a storytelling approach to get to the heart of each project. This method helps me develop the most meaningful, honest work possible.”

I’m fairly certain we all support a local small business in one way or another on a weekly basis. Think about it! It’s the auto repair shop, the CrossFit Gym, or the café where you grab that much needed dose of caffeine in the mornings. Owning a small business is the American Dream and, increasingly, more and more of us are taking that leap and turning our dreams into a reality.

Forbes recently wrote an article on the effects of marketing, web design, and branding on business growth. The article states that 38% of users will stop interacting with a website if the layout is unattractive and that having a consistent brand presentation across all platforms increases revenue by up to 23%. Not sure how to create a website or what branding even is? Don’t fret, there is a local design studio who specializes in just that!

Rachel Wunsch’s Design Studio offers branding and web design packages for small businesses. She and her husband, an Onalaska native, returned to the Coulee region a little over a year ago. Rachel worked for a Fortune 500 company but was feeling unfulfilled and longed for something more out of her work life. Finally, she decided to take that leap of faith and started her own small business in order serve other locally owned establishments. “The purpose behind my studio is simple - To help small businesses tell their story through a blend of custom art + graphic design. I use a storytelling approach to get to the heart of each project. This method helps me develop the most meaningful, honest work possible.”

Rachel understands that small businesses are an integral part of the Onalaska community and her way of supporting growth in the community is by showcasing their uniqueness through business branding and web design. Rachel Wunsch Design Studio also offers wedding packages and custom art. So, whether you’re looking for business branding, company logos, wedding invitations, or even a traditional painting check out Rachel Wunsch Design Studio!

Most of us have at least one. It’s that question that comes to mind whenever people talk about God, faith, or church – that question that makes us unsure of God, and if believing in Him makes any sense. That’s what the “You Asked for It” series is all about. What is confusing, hard, challenging, unclear, or of interest to YOU? Along the way we’ll see so many of these areas are where extra grace needs to be given in generous supply as we all grapple with understanding the Will, Goodness, Grace, and Holiness of God. Let us know what your question is and come join us for this special message series!
